UniverCell Canada Return Policy

We want you to love what you bought. If something isn’t right, most items can be returned within 30 days.

30-day returns (most items)

You can return eligible items within 30 days of:

  • Delivery date (online orders), or
  • Purchase date (in-store)

You’ll need: proof of purchase (order number/receipt).

What’s returnable

Returnable within 30 days (if eligible):

  • Phones, tablets, laptops, and other devices
  • Accessories (cases, chargers, cables, etc.) — must be unused and in original packaging (unless defective)

Final sale items

These items are not returnable (unless defective on arrival):

  • Opened wearables/headphones or other hygiene-sensitive items
  • SIM cards, prepaid top-ups, and digital items
  • Items marked Final Sale / Clearance

Return rules (quick checklist)

To qualify, items must be returned:

  • Within 30 days
  • In original condition
  • With all accessories, manuals, and packaging
  • Unlocked (no iCloud/Google locks)

For devices, the IMEI/serial number must match what was sold.


If something is missing or the item isn’t in returnable condition, we may refuse the return or deduct for missing parts/packaging.

Data on Returned Product

When returning products that may contain stored or recorded personal information, like computers, tablets, mobile devices, smart devices, digital cameras, etc., you are responsible for deleting or removing all personal information and media from your product before you return it. UniverCell Canada is not responsible for any use by a third party of personal data or media left behind on a returned item.

How to return

Online orders (univercell.ai)


Email ecom@univercellcanada.com with:

  • Order number
  • Item(s) you’re returning
  • Reason for return
  • Photos (if damaged/incorrect)

We’ll send you the next steps.


In-store purchases


Bring the item + receipt to the store you purchased from (or contact us for help).

Return shipping

  • If we made the mistake (wrong item / defective on arrival), we’ll cover return shipping or provide a label.
  • If it’s a change of mind, you cover return shipping.

Use a trackable shipping method—we can’t be responsible for packages lost in transit.


Shipping fees (including expedited shipping) are non-refundable, except where required by law or if the return is due to our error.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, refunds are typically processed within [3–7 business days] back to your original payment method (when possible). Your bank may take additional time to post it.

Restocking fees (sometimes)

We keep returns simple, but a restocking fee may apply for opened devices (for testing, reset, and repackaging), especially if accessories/packaging are missing.


Restocking fee: up to [10–15%] (if applicable). We’ll tell you if a fee applies after inspection.

Damaged, defective, or wrong item

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. We’ll make it right.

Repair services (workmanship warranty)

Repairs include a [30-day] workmanship warranty (unless noted otherwise). This covers issues related to the repair we performed—not new damage or unrelated problems.
